However, these old Sega machines of this series are attractive machines, came in various colors of that era, and epitomize the mid century modern look. For home use the quality factor is probably not an issue.
Apparently a lesser grade of metal was used as well to keep costs down. I've read that these imports are not particularly desirable by collectors here because of the foreign currency required and the internal mech isn't the same quality as an original Mills. From what I understand, Sega used Mills' tooling and dies and copied their design.
